Got tired of the jam packed Chinese places near the University, so I went here and picked up the lunch special of General Tso's chicken. Great portion for a low price. A few coworkers ordered along with me. None of us were disappointed. Food was very tasty. This will be my new go to Chinese food place.

I know why they call this place Star Wok because apparently one star is all the ambition the staff and owners have for this restaurant and may I say Mission Accomplished!
Dry chicken, old oil and the stir fry is mostly onions. Not the good kind of onions but the kind you find at the bottom of the bin two days after they should have brought in new onions. Also my Sooguy which is chicken with sauce had no sauce unless the person who prepared had been drinking heavily. Which is a distinct possibility.
My dearly departed friend Eric, had the "lemon chicken". He complained that the vegetables, like all the other dishes, were undercooked. We think that whatever Exxon oil tanker collided with the restaurant leaked so much oil that it made the food uncookable and inedible. Honestly, enough oil! It's chinese food not a body builder on a beach in Santa Monica.
My brother said that the undercooked vegetables and oily food were indicitive of the one positive thing about the restaurant, its consistancy. If you don't like who you're with, insist that they go here for dinner. They will never talk to you again.
Another friend said it was edible, but that may have been gastric distress causing nild hallucinations.
Oh God, and if you thinking eating it is bad wait until it settles and coagulates within your guts. Like carrying a baby 2 weeks past its due date and man can that sucker kick!
The only person who liked their food said it was delicious! They would willing order it again and the price is just right. Mind you they had McDonald's. -

Decided to check out Star Wok since the Chen's Buffet place closed down. First off, this place is not meant to be a sit down restaurant. I mean they don't even have proper plates for crying out loud! They have paper plates, and plastic utensils. The tables weren't even that clean. The entire kitchen looks messy and not clean.
We decided to go for lunch and their lunch menu is pretty reasonable when it comes to price. We ended up up getting a General Tso's chicken, lemon chicken, and chicken Lo Mein noodles. The food was below par with the General Tso chicken, just being a little better.
Honestly, it's not the best place to get food at unless you have no other options. Even then, make see you only do take out for dinner. Not sure if I'd go back. -

I ordered honey garlic spareribs from this restaurant. What I got was a fatty watery mess. When I phoned to discuss it I was told they would not do anything about it. It was my fault for ordering. Don't bother ordering anything from this place. Appalling customer service

The food is honestly terrible. I don't even know how you can make fake Chinese food made, but they've done it. I love eating fake Chinese food and no matter how bad the quality, I've usually enjoyed it. But this is so much worse. I expected something ManchuWok or PandaExpress (which I like), but the food here is like this, but somehow made worse.
